We don't build projects.
We build resilience.
Every small island faces the same handful of problems — energy, food, housing, workforce, digital trust — and treats them as separate projects, run by separate teams, competing for the same scarce land and capital.
We don’t.
L32 starts from a different premise: an island’s resilience isn’t the sum of six separate projects. It’s what happens when they’re designed as one system. Energy powers the farm. The farm anchors the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood trains the workforce that keeps the whole system running. Nothing here is bolted onto something else — it’s one closed loop, and it starts with the community already here, not the concrete we pour.
We call this human infrastructure: not investment in people as a line item, but the integrated system of conditions — shelter, food, energy, health, education, digital access, and community — that makes a place, and the people in it, sovereign, dignified, and self-determining.
Sovereign is the word that matters most. Not sovereignty as a slogan, but as an engineering fact: energy that isn’t hostage to imported fuel, food that isn’t hostage to imported shipping, a digital layer we control rather than rent. Resilience, the way we build it, is measured in megawatts, tonnes, and uptime — not in vision statements.
We chose the hardest case on purpose. If this works on a small, hurricane-exposed island 32 degrees north with no room for error, it works anywhere. That’s why we’re building it here first — not a monument, but a model.

L32 Energy is developing the next generation of resilient and distributed energy infrastructure. Solar is an important, affordable part of that mix — one cog in a broader approach that pairs generation, storage, control, and heat into a single, dependable system. The technology partners below are the building blocks.
Savant Power & Savant Home
Whole-home energy management that ties solar, storage, EV charging, and everyday loads into one intelligent control layer. Savant Power lets a household see where energy is going and automatically shed or shift non-critical loads during outages or peak pricing — the difference between a battery that lasts overnight and one that lasts through a storm.
Sol-Ark
The brain of a resilient solar system. Sol-Ark hybrid inverters manage solar, battery, grid, and generator inputs in a single unit with seamless switchover when the grid drops. Residential systems run 12–18 kW; commercial systems are available at 30 kW and 60 kW for larger sites, multi-unit buildings, and microgrids.
HomeGrid
Modular lithium iron phosphate storage sized to the job. HomeGrid’s Stackable range scales in increments for homes and small commercial sites, the Compact series fits tight footprints, and the HG Cube serves larger installations. All ranges are designed for daily cycling in hot, humid climates — the conditions Bermuda actually has.
Trina Solar
High-output N-type modules built for maximum energy per square metre — critical where roof and land are scarce. L32 specifies Trina’s N-Series and Vertex Series in the 630 W and 740 W formats, delivering more generation from fewer panels and reducing mounting, wiring, and roof loading per kilowatt installed.
Mobile Energy Solutions
Portable, silent, fuel-free power for events, field operations, telecoms, and emergency response. Battery generators, solar Sun Tarps and Sun Wings, ruggedised metal-case batteries, and all-in-one SunKits replace diesel generators with clean output that can be deployed anywhere in minutes — and redeployed the moment a hurricane passes.
Thermodynamic Heating
Hot water and space heating from solar and ambient heat, using PV-T panels that generate electricity and thermal energy from the same surface. One integrated system replaces separate solar panels and water heaters, cuts energy bills, and operates reliably from −40 °C to +85 °C. Integrates with heat pumps, storage tanks, and HVAC for residential, commercial, and industrial use.
